Verzegeld ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our time capsule service at verzegeld.com.
Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Recipient email, delivery date, content type, and payment information. We never have access to your capsule content as it is end-to-end encrypted in your browser.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer/payment IDs, never your card details.
IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and analytics purposes.
Your capsule content (text, audio, video) is encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM before being transmitted to our servers. The encryption keys are derived from RSA-4096 key pairs that only you and your recipient control. We cannot decrypt, read, or access your capsule content under any circumstances.
Encrypted capsule data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with 99.999999999% durability. Data transitions through S3 Standard, S3 Infrequent Access, and S3 Glacier based on age and access patterns.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account and associated data at any time. You can delete your account from your profile settings. Note that sealed capsules cannot be modified once sealed.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use localStorage for theme preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
